Ever since the first time I laid eyes on Balenciaga S/S 2008 collection by Nicolas Ghesquière last year, I fell in love instantly. Not with the flower print, but with the shoes, these knee high woven-leather gladiator boots.
Oh, they are just so gorgeous! Not that I could ever wear them, though. It’s a shame my social life does not endorse the possibility of me wearing those shoes. Nonetheless, they were inspiring. I also happened to love their F/W 2008 collection.
Looove those draped velvet and taffeta tops, that pencil skirt, and my ever favorite skinny pants. In fact, I love the total look! However, I wasn’t about to talk about any of those collections. Realizing how much I love the gladiator boots, I have been looking for wearable gladiator shoes or sandals. I found plenty; some were hideous, some looked pretty awesome, but I love these the most:
These are Macy Shoe by Miss Sixty. I’m not sure how they would make my feet look, or how they would make me look, but I have a good feeling about them ;p. Yet another reason to add another pair of shoes to my oh-so-long Wanted Items list.
Hmm.. shoes.

Oh I completely agree! I love the Balenciaga shoes. They are to die for. Not to worry, you’re not the only one that can’t fit these shoes into their social life!

the poliana are pretty, but i don’t think they will fit with the s/s collection.. they will make the ensemble seem ‘too much’, see.. :)
